Background
Microscopic colitis is a chronic diarrhoeal disease. Ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease are inflammatory bowel diseases (IBDs). All three have a significant impact on day-to-day living and quality of life. But treatment is available, and the symptoms can be controlled.
Solution
The leaflets explain how the diseases arise, their symptoms, how they are diagnosed and treated, and what patients need to think about to manage them. To ensure uniformity across all the leaflets, they were given a harmonised visual profile. The illustrations were produced in association with Michel Ducourneau.
