My FassFass.se, relating to the Swedish pharmaceutical codex 'Fass', is one of Sweden's most visited sites, with over four million hits a month. It gives the health service and the general public a unique opportunity to access information on all the drugs on the Swedish market. In close collaboration with the Association of the Swedish Pharmaceutical Industry (LIF) and the company IT Arkitekterna, our first assignment was a general overview and updating of the website. This started with a number of interviews and focus groups involving doctors, the general public and representatives of patient organisations. All functions were assessed prior to update proposals. The next project was preparation of a proposal for a completely new section in FASS: the so-called My Fass. This is a special site for individuals, who can create their own drug list, receive reminders regarding dosage, renewal of prescriptions etc.A test period is currently in progress regarding the function, without any final design for fass.se and My Fass. |
